We actually just finally found a quarterback that seems pretty good. I would not say just because you have a bunch of guys means you are QB U.
I'd be surprised if Mitchell end up being a QB to be honest.

During College Football Final on ESPN they showed the ISU/OSU highlights and after Jessie Palmer made the comment "Kyle Kempt, Zeb Noland and now Brock Purdy, how does Iowa State get all these good quarterbacks".
So, Im guessing Devon Moore is just going to be buried beneath all these other guys in the QB room.
But are they also 6'7 220? With feet like Dean? If his film doesn't impress you, not much is going to. He made about every conceivable type of throw look easy, showed great decision making and made plays with his feet. All while being one of the biggest kids on the field.
Im super pumped about this kid, Purdy possibly (probably) not taking a RS means they can RS Dean and have them two classes apart. The future is bright at the QB spot.

I agree. We are pretty much the exact opposite of QB U. Can't keep a starter for more than 6 games and haven't had a good pro since... 2002??
Goodness gracious. People are just having fun with this right now. Give them a break. It's nice to not have to worry about how terrible all of our QB options are.
Purdy's HS Tape showed he could make all the throws and I was excited we got him. What he did last week as a true freshman (although only 1 game) is impressive. If he stays healthy he's the real deal imo. Dean's tape doesn't show quite as good as Purdy's did in regard to passes but it sure isn't bad. Also he's a freak in the best possible sense, 6'7 220 as a HS QB and can ball like that. I'd say the QB situation is looking very good. Right now we're a pass to run team if Purdy stays on task.
Pollard is holding a presser tomorrow. Rumor is he's announcing the building of a Heisman Trophy case exclusively for quarterbacks.
Didn't you forget one? Aiden Bouman, the 2020 commit is lighting it up this year for his high school team. Prototypical size for an NFL QB at 6-5, 210(-ish).
