Fans are quick to forget that injuries can and do occur. We will most likely play two, or three QB's during the rest of the season.
Well Re-al has to make an appearance sometime right?

I don't like the idea of shuffling 2 QB's going into Saturday, WV is too good and explosive on offence to possibly feel out the first quarter to see about the QB's. ISU could easily be down multiple scores at that point. Let one play out at least a half and get a rhythm. Another reason I think Brock should be the starter for this game is I don't want Kyle to need a few possessions to knock of the rust of not playing for a month.

He wasn’t highly rated. Just a 3 star. He was highly recruited...by two other teams, really. A&M and ‘Bama. He sure looked good. I can see why he was so highly rated coming out of high school.
Purdy had one good game against a terrible Oklahoma State team. Not saying he isnt the second coming of Tom Brady, but didnt kempt beat Oklahoma, a much much better team than Oklahoma State?

I would say Oklahoma State's defense this year is better than Oklahoma's was last year..
Likely because the offense has largely been forgettable since that OU game.Purdy had one good game against a terrible Oklahoma State team. Not saying he isnt the second coming of Tom Brady, but didnt kempt beat Oklahoma, a much much better team than Oklahoma State?

Watched it again last night and from what I could tell he gets the ball out quicker than what we've seen and has good feet for it as well.
It's not even that he's a runner as much as he can adjust to pressure and still get a good throw off.
Something I really appreciated was the shots of Noland coming over and showing support and Kempt too. Everything's easier if everyone is working toward the same thing.
Hopefully the Mountaineers don't try to take Purdy out of the game through targeting like Okie State did. Just play it fair and square.I watched the game and purdy looked great, especially for a freshman.
I also watch Tech play oklahoma state and they made bowman look like Joe namath.
bowman had a miserable half against wvu at home the very next week(before being knocked out at end 1st half with collapsed lung.
WVU has a very fast defense, unlike oklahoma State. If purdy can run on wvu i think hell be able to run on anyone.
Except he doesn't appear to be a cornholeo (like brother Drew).Very much reminded me of Drew Tate on a few plays.

Hopefully Purdy has more help in the running game. If Montgomery is back and full strength it will make a big difference.
Good luck Saturday.
Man, you never miss a chance to beat a dead horse. True the physically abilities of Parks replacements may have cost us a game or two, but the demeanor and leadership may have gotten a couple wins we hadn't predicted. If Park hadn't sheet on his teammates, coachs and fans with his choices the offensive would be more open. But, he did and the coaches moved forward with the next best option. Purdy shows great promise to get the offense moving again. I get a laugh out of your know it all smug comments, but you seem bitter the team had successes without Park. Let it go, whats done is done.Likely because the offense has largely been forgettable since that OU game.
Last year’s team had already put up 41 on a better defense than OU’s, and it was downhill for the offense after the game in Norman (except for Noland against Ok St).
Hopefully we don’t see the same easy to defend, restrictive offense with Purdy that we did with Kempt and even Noland this year
I didn’t mention Park, but get emotional about it if you wish.Man, you never miss a chance to beat a dead horse.
