Yes, skip the Big 12 Championship game for a team that many of us (me anyway) though was a company of some sort before they scheduled the game.

I like Purdy's mobility, but let's not overdo it. I'll just assume you never saw Seneca on a scramble.
Nope. 100% play him.So...anyone still want to redshirt Brock, if he has a bad game against Tech?
Seneca was faster and could run away from everyone, but I think Purdy is better at juking and faking out the defender. Both have great feet. I have been following ISU for 35 years. Those two are in a class by themselves.Agree. He’s crafty, serviceably fast and makes good decisions, but Seneca was lightning on the run.

Isaiah Lee came in for jamahl JohnsonPurdy was so good under pressure yesterday, not by freshman standards, but by any standard. That was the most impressive thing. He was instrumental in keeping the defense rested when I'm not sure who would play in the middle if Jamahl Johnson would need a breather. I don't know if he came out for a single defensive play.

Conversely, performances like Grier's last night kill Heisman hopes.

Without a doubt!! The kid has overcome everything thrown at him, and then some. Blitzes, penalties, of which there were way too many... Plus when he runs, he continues to look for options downfield. This guy is the real deal, and has the potential to get us places only a QB of his caliber can.
I think the way that he hung in the pocket on all those blitzes and delivered under pressure might have been the most impressive part of the game.
