Watch Gophers versus the winless Huskers at 2:30?

Take the kids to a corn maze?

Tailgate like it was home game anyway?

Wash and wax the family mobile?

Take in a matinee?

Bake cookies and pies?

Hit up a few banks in the morning for coins to search.

Then to Menards to pick up a cedar fence board that my son ripped off the neighbors today.

Paint a couple of bedrooms.

Then search the coins while watching football.

Drink copious amounts of barley pops.

Not necessarily in that order.

Don't think I'll be able to watch much but if I could I would.

Even the years when ISU is awful a day of college football is fantastic so a bye week doesn't change that either.

Wife and I going to watch the boy run cross country down at UCM in Warrensburg, Missouri. Will listen to some football on the radio on the trip back home.

Golf here. Teeing off a little before 10. Fleece a little cash off my friends then settle in for a day of football. Should be a great day.

Grind some Starbucks beans, check out CF, dig up some bulbs in the garden, make marinade for the slow cooker chicken, and then root for the Goophers, Terps, and "never won it all" Brewers.

I was going to be helping a friend paint his basement that he's been finishing, but that just got called off.

So its football-watching for me. Maybe a little lawn work.

traipsing thru the treetops
Grocery shopping, then planting some daffy bulbs and checking the begonias to see if they are ready for me to dig up the corms & prepare them for storing over the winter.
