Get in. Win by 17-21 and cover the spread with no injuries. Get out.

Valid point. It is also valid to say that the offense is different than what we saw against Akron - both in the run and pass game - with Purdy at the helm.
I agree, it’s different and better.

Even with the improvement, the other poster’s prediction of 6.5 ypc isn’t likely to happen, no matter what game plan, but in particular with how we like to play.

The only ISU team in recent years to lose at Kansas had basically given up by that point. And Rhoads was a moron for leaving Richardson in late vs OU in a blowout loss...then Sam got hurt and unable to play vs KU. I'm still pissed they lost that game.

I'm not. That was part of the wobbly Jenga puzzle of CPR's time at ISU. Was hard to watch but KU simply played and ISU didn't.

Tomorrow's KU team will be different than last year's that came to Ames and was basically done by the 3rd series. ISU's offense will need to be crisp and smart.

I sort of hate the idea of ISU going conservative. Mess around enough and give momentum up and this board is going to melt.

Honestly I think the 14.5 on the road is going to be difficult to cover regardless of who you're playing. I've ridden the Clones the past couple years because we're cover machines, but this number might be too high. Hope I'm wrong.

Have confidence in the 1 TD from the O and a TD and safety from the D.
