Never lost a game like that before? I guess every game is different... but the ISU win in 2004 was very similar.

KSU took a 23-9 lead by going on long TD drive that ended at the beginning of the 4th qtr. With about 14 mins left, it appeared that TD would be enough to win the game.. then ISU scored 28 points in about 11 mins to win 37-23..

Exactly the same? Probably not... but I would argue it was pretty close...

So 14 years ago and some 150 games earlier and the old man can't immediately recall? I'm giving him a pass.

I guess my tone didn't come across well... not trying to kill the guy for forgetting the game.. have a lot of respect for what Snyder has done at KSU, can only hope that someday we have a coach that chooses to dedicate his career to ISU the way Snyder has been dedicated to KSU for the last 30 years...

But, as soon as I heard this clip the 2004 game was the first thing that I thought of. That is probably because I am a life long ISU fan who has suffered through two different 10 year losing streaks to Snyder's KSU teams and I remember breaking them with incredible comebacks... Am I shocked he didn't remember that game immediately following this one? No. I just thought it was ironic that not only had it happened, it happened against us.

Your OP came across just fine. Don't sweat it.
