We had a pretty good time with our Pinstripe trip. Flew in and out of Newark, stayed at Embassy Suites in Jersey, took a bus in and out of Manhattan. Got to see the noon practice ball drop at Times Square. Checked out the tree at Rockefeller Center. Subway down to the WTC site, as well as Yankee Stadium. Pretty good weather for that game, too (I just wore a hoodie and jeans and was plenty comfortable). Really wasn’t that expensive.

Yeah, I love New York. Never been there in December though.

December here is overrated (then again, so is most anytime of the year, but it takes living here to understand that :) ). December is cold just like anywhere else in the north. In the upper 30s or lower 40s. It's basically like Chicago in December, but 5 degrees warmer, and maybe less bi-polar weather from day to day, but not a ton different.

Washington State fans think we are garbage. Time to show them up.

The Drake disaster is probably a blessing in disguise as far as what fans of other teams who don't pay attention to us know. That's probably what they know about ISU right now so it could be a surprise. Everyone ever thinks ISU is garbage. It doesn't matter what sport it is - remember all the UConn fans talking **** before the NCAA tournament game only to have ISU torch them? It's the same story every year.

Essentially sports fans across the country don't know much of anything except for their team and a few of the teams they play.

WSU is a good team and I think it'll be an entertaining game.
