I'm going to miss David probably more than any other player since Troy. Still holding out hope he comes back but I really doubt it.

The only thing I can see GMs holding against him is the ball is ALWAYS in his left hand. GMs pick apart the weirdest "flaws" even though this one leads to literally zero turnovers.

It seems like they do nitpick stuff most of us wouldn't consider.

Regarding turnovers, is that also a valued consideration — that is, ball security? How many times has DM fumbled at ISU, regardless of it ended as turnover or not (and even counting the Liberty Bowl non-fumble as a fumble)? Anybody know?

To me that would be among his strongest traits, along with how hard he is to bring down, plus elusive ability. I'm sure other RBs are preferable for pure speed.

if AP can still have a job after his fumble problems DM can definitely have a job.

he doesn't have elite speed either. although most of his skill set would be considered elite: vision, balance, yac, catching ability, blitz pickup. his top speed will be pretty average for an NFL RB.

I think anyone would recommend he go, but I wouldn't be surprised if he decides to come back.
