Sounds like the vampire may be done.
Any thoughts on Sean becoming our Special Teams Coordinator? Dad seemed to have a lot of respect for Campbell.

My general thought has been if Sean was anything great he would have been promoted to OC/DC by dad and would have been better received by KSU as the potential successor at HC.

He already has the title Associate Head Coach. wth that means.

Well ESPN's efficiency rankings ranks our special teams (116), surprise there. K-State ranked (28) this year and (1) last year. Their special teams always seems to be their best unit, so yeah I'd take Bill Jr. for our ST coordinator.

Testifying
Ryan Day will remain at Ohio State and is off the market to other teams, reports FootballScoop. In an update released Friday afternoon, FootballScoop reports that the Ohio State offensive coordinator and one-time acting head coach has a “significant raise” coming his way to stay in Columbus.

FootballScoop also speculates that the move comes with an “unwritten understanding that he is in line to become head coach once Urban (Meyer) steps down.”
I wonder what the timeline is then. Remember when Muschamp was coach in waiting at Texas, then sunk Florida, and could now sink SC.

Maryland and Louisville updated. tOSU added and updated. Only 2 P5 jobs left to fill by my account. Not nearly as many fireworks as last year

Rumors:
Eric Bienemy leaves the Chiefs (current O-Coord) to be the head coach at his alma mater Colorado.

Kliff gets hired by the Chiefs to be the OC and coach Patrick Mahomes. Use that as a stepping stone to get a pro head coaching gig in a couple years.
Neither of these happened.

Kliff to USC as OC and...

Kansas State hired the North Texas guy, didn't they?

EDIT: Just kidding, that's the rumor who they are looking at though.

I would hire their OL coach way before Sean. We had a lot of transition in the special teams this year, so while they were not good, there is some hope for them getting better. OL has gone from bad to worse this year, with a lot of guy that came back. Not convince that CMC has the right guy there, and the KSU OL is always good.
