I still think Little Finger will end up on the throne. Yes, I know his character died in the last season but nobody plays the game of thrones better and we all know how shady and smart his character is. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was someone with his face on. Go back and watch how his character was portrayed in the last season and him dying just really made no sense. It was awesome and unexpected but it made no sense. The only way to finish the series’s having him reveal himself with another face on for the last season and the last shot is him on the throne. Of course, he probably really is dead and this is just a crazy theory that is way off.

Honestly, this is probably just about right, though I think some more people on this list die. I'm also waiting for the Starks to arise from their tombs, that should be interesting.

No way she doesn't have her kid. I am guessing Jon dies if either of them does and Dany has her child.

Everyone keeps saying that Dany will have an heir. I thought she was rendered incapable of having children due to what happened in trying to save Khal Drogo's life and the deals she made with the witch, as it's been said over and over from then that the dragons will be the only children she will ever mother.

Sam's gotta die doing something heroic, right? I can't imagine him staying alive though this whole ordeal without some sort of twist. Maybe he kills the Night King while losing his own life in the process?

Every ending I envision always seems a little "too happy" for the theme of the show. I don't think the NK wins, but having Cersei win wouldn't surprise me too much either. I see the dragons all being dead (again) at the end.

I'd agree that a lot of the supposedly logical endings seem "too happy" for the GOT that we all loved early on. However, once the show got past the books, I think we saw a turn in the tone to where I wouldn't count it out that there is some sort of "happy" ending, which may only be the defeat of the Night King with a few characters surviving.

Yes I agree, but that was not referred to in this interview.

IIRC the show writers sat down with GRRM and went through what he had in mind for the GoT story. GRRM told them there are three OMG moments. The first was Shireen, the second was Hodor and the third we have not seen yet.

When he was in the Citadel discussing writing the current events with Archmaester Marwyn, Sam suggested the title be "something a bit more poetic" when the Archmaester gave the title of 'A Chronicle of the Wars of Following the Death of King Robert I.' Sam's title is going to be 'A Song of Ice and Fire' and it will explain why the opening credits is the chandelier in the Citadel's library.

Beric Dondarrion can't revive Jon - he's not a priest of R'hllor. Thoros of Myr was the priest that was resurrecting Dondarrion. I hate to get into a "but in the books" because at this point there's little relevancy, especially what I'm going to say, but it's pretty common knowledge that Thoros ended up killing himself resurrecting Catelyn Stark. Obviously this hasn't played out in the TV series (and likely won't), and Thoros' status is a little uncertain since Arya and The Hound left their Company. If anything it will either be Thoros (if he's still around) or Melisandre that resurrects Jon in your scenario.

Thoros didn't die (yet) in the books. Beric Dondarrion gave his light to resurrect Catelyn Stark (via Thoros).

You gotta cut some out for the sake of time with a TV show. Wish they would've gone more her storyline route rather than the Dornish one they went with, but my guess is they wouldn't have done Arianne justice if they tried to squeeze her in anyways
