A 21 year old slept with and eventually married her 39 year old biological father, whom she had not known or met until a few months ago. Apparently, it was part of a competition with her half sister on who could hook up with him first. I guess she won. Stay classy Nebraska.

I agree, I doubt they'd actually get 8 years but that still seems excessive as a possibility. There are people convicted of sexual assault or child molestation that get less time.

It's bad for the human race. For those that nature hasn't already weeded out who are contemplating the act, the penalties are likely intended to be a deterrent. In this case, the deterrent didn't seem to work.

Normally I would agree, but given the hillbillies lack of contraceptive knowledge (or knowledge in general), the probability of these two spitting out a couple inbred idiot kids that the state would end up with is pretty high.
