I'm not going out and saying Iowa State is going to beat Baylor.

But they aren't going to lay down and fold tomorrow night. If they shoot like they did in the first half tonight, look for it to be close.

Off topic but Maryland is folding in the 4th vs the Pyrite and Coal Dust by 16. Goose with 45 points.

Not entirely off topic as they are both among the hosting 16 teams. Might help us as Maryland is currently #10 and might drop a few spots. #11 and #12 augered in earlier and should drop. And we are still playing at #14. I am kinda expecting us to maybe get elevated to one of last two #3's. If I was reshuffling the deck tonight I could make a case for replacing South Carolina and Oregon State with Miami and ISU.

Big nation showcase game for us versus #1 tomorrow night.

Iowa schools doing well in conference.

Drake wins their regular season.
Iowa wins the tournament and finishes 2nd by one game in the regular season
Iowa State is no worse than 2nd and 2nd in the Big 12.

ISU and Iowa will be hosting with all of the benefits that brings and Drake is ranked and has earned a respectable seeding.

Anyone got a ball park idea what tickets will cost for the NCAA tournament?

It's going to take a great game and some help from BU tomorrow nite to get the W. If we keep it under 15 and play well that will bode well for us in the NCAA's.

Aston was pretty upset about technical in post game and blamed the loss on that. I'd be curious if a ref person could chime in, but my hunch is the prolonged stare facing and standing over Bridget is in line with the rule.

Tomorrow will be tough. I'm sure they will be after Bridget as POY like Texas gals were today. It was clear others were going to have to step up. Besides obviously Alexa and Bridget, I think Maddy, Ashley, and Mere were all big contributors at big times today.

I didn't see any of the game, but sometimes I wonder if these Ts are more of an accumulations of things. Like the ref told her 2 or 3 times to stop doing something, and finally they had had enough of the BS.
