Holy ****. What a game. Jacobson was doing work on the boards. Outstanding team defense in the second half to keep them in the game during their scoring drought. There was one sequence right around the six minute mark where they were in a total scramble drill covering the perimeter and they forced a miss off sheer hustle. Thing of beauty.
Hats off to K State. They played a hell of a game.

They certainly did. They are a balanced, talented team. That was a dog fight, back and forth.

NWB played REALLY tough and maybe not enough being said about it. Guy played hard and took it to the basket not leaving anything to chance. Played tough D all game and made FTs.

Maybe Shayok's shot will get all the glory but I think NWB may have been the MVP. Great play by the seniors.

When we are at our best, Nick is just all of the place. He's hustling for loose balls, making open shots, driving to the basket, and rebounding. He got away from that during the streak. I don't think because of effort but because he consistently plays hurt.
