There's really no reason to be surprised by the outcome of this game. We tanked hard the last month of the season, excluding the conference tourney. I don't know who to blame, but tonight was the entire season wrapped up into a single game. It's poetic.

Anybody time that out of bounds play towards the end? I counted at least 5 seconds in my head, it had to have been getting within milliseconds of a 5 second call.

The ref is past his 5 count when he gave the timeout. That and the “phantom” kicked ball will keep those two refs from advancing past this game.

Depends on the refs and how much they allow the game to be mucked up.

It won't matter to Houston. They are tough as nails defensively and play great fundamental basketball. They will attack Wesson and Corey Davis will light them up from outside.

The official counted five with his arm. Go back and watch him. Gave the ball to the OSU player, started counting out with his arm like all officials do, reached five....probably could have done six when the OSU player called time. Don't know why he didn't blow his whistle when he reached five. Are they suppose to give them more time?
