Some bad calls for sure. But human error is part of the game. Perhaps my biggest gripe on that is a couple calls were reviewable, and they didn’t even look at the monitor. You have to overcome the human error of the officials. Iowa State didn’t tonight.
I will give this team credit though. This whole year, when shots were not falling, it bled to the defensive end. And while they had issues with Wesson inside, which also led to the offensive rebounds, they overall kept themselves in the game with defense. They just never had the run they needed.

Jacobson did absolutely nothing on both ends of the floor. CSP made the right call by leaving him on the bench.

Lard played hard and well against wesson. Haliburton and babb fought for boards in the paint. you put jacobson in at 4 and you shut down OSU's ONLY player.

Pathetic game plan. Kids played hard, you just have an overmatched coach every time you step on the floor. This game shouldn’t have been close, allowing Ohio state, and really anyone we play, to do whatever they want, over and over again. Just really poorly coached team.

Wesson would have put up at least 10 more points in the second half with Jacobson on him. Lard put up a hell of an effort.

They both should have been guarding him at the same time the entire second half. How many rebounds might have started our transition offense.

Frustrating game. We beat Ohio State 8 times out of 10 - even with the same game plan they did of pounding it down low. Shayok played great. Wiggs had some bonehead plays but had some big shots, Lard had one of his best offensive games of the season.

Coach, Halliburton - please, please work this summer on a 6 foot floater or carrying the dribble one more step and go for the layup.

They never do in the tournament. Just the way it's always been. Def some bad calls that could've swung the game but what's it matter. This ISU team wasn't beating anybody worth a **** this weekend.

Unless you're Niang against Virginia.

At the end of the day, nobody made a shot. Babb once again proved he isn’t a leader. Missed a wide open 3 for the lead not on prohm. Players were terrible.

Rebounding is the fly in Prohms ointment. His teams are never good at it. Jacobson and Lard average like 8 rebounds put together, so our guards have to rebound and they aren't that much better. Wigginton is probably our best rebounder at 6-2.

If I was Prohm I would rethink our rebounding scheme this offseasons. We lose a lot of games because of it.

Lard seemed like a rebounding machine last season at times. I really hope he has a good offseason and is just a day one starter without the ups and downs next year.

The K-State game last weekend was a carbon copy of this game minus the Shayok heroics that got us the win at the end. Was that also a horrible coaching job?
