It’d be like Pee Wee’s Playhouse only it’d be Doc’s Greenhouse. It could work. Unfortunately my thread on this was rudely deleted by the mods, but women in America apparently have a lot of lesbian fantasies. I would provide a space to indulge in them.

What did I miss?

Can't really watch much due to other obligations but the NCAA tournament can still be fun.

This team's ceiling was maybe Sweet Sixteen with breaks and last night was why that didn't happen, nothing more.

Gonna need a team about like the 13-14/99-01 teams to have a night like last night to skip the rest of the tourney.

My recovery day starts with a Bloody Mary, and then I’m out of ideas...HELP!!!

"Day of" rule for wins. "Hour of" rule for loses.

Enjoy a win for a day and look forward to the next game.

Bathe in the pit of despair for 1 hour after a loss then come here to make fun of the chicken little crowds.

It's a game played by kids that some suffer emotional damage from. This is a hobby - get a life!

No desire to watch basketball anymore.. sipping on some booze and trying to get our house sold.

I haven't been invested in this team since their "me ball" antics in late January and February. Started to get a glimmer of hope in the Big12 tournament but knew in the back of my mind they'd go right back to "me ball" and they did. Glad I checked out earlier. FB season now

Feel free to hop back on the train at the first sign of success but maintain your seat next to the door so you can bail at first signs of difficulty.

I'm actually kind of relieved the season is over. Disappointed for the team, but goddamn. The basketball forums have been nothing short of toxic since the beginning of February. I think we all need a little break.

Didn’t you start it by saying “no offense” or “kindly” though? I thought it was very classy.

Honestly, there was something about this team that was just off and I think people knew it. I kind of think the flaw a lack of creativity.

It's gotten easier as I get older. I'm only 34 but believe me, my early years as an ISU fan taught me how to be patient on a losing team. Hell even my flag football teams would get whooped. You can learn a lot from losing.

Maybe. And I can't speak for anyone else but I guess I underestimated what a big loss it was shutting down Solomon Young for the season. The team lost a major physical interior presence and never really figured out how to replace him. Thought about that a lot last night while Wesson was eating Jacobson alive in the second half.

I don't know. Just a weirdo year. If you take a step back and look at the whole season from start to finish it looks pretty good. But when you consider the opportunities presented to the team along the way, it's hard to not feel like they underachieved and left a lot on the table.
