.....
Prohm started the halves the same way, but he varied it....
The idea that he was inflexible is silly....
Agree with this. Think it sends the wrong message.
Good God, you're obtuse. You know exactly that you're referring to his Facebook page. No call for that.
And gave up a wide open 3 seconds in the to the game, Huggy put him some ball screen action, he made the wrong choice and gave McCabe 3 points, which got him going for the rest of the night. We also were never competitive in that game, not sure I'd use it as an example of anything but it shows the people supporting Lindell only look at how many points he had. Why are his stats relevant? If he's as focused on them as you are, that explains even more about why he didn't start.
I'm surprised you don't have it on your Facebook because you seem so proud of it. Instead you just have your Cubs, Hawkeyes and Kansas State stuff
He’s not wrong
Marner used to post on CF..not sure if he was a prohm hater or not. Haven’t seen him in awhile, maybe if he’s reading he can debate his side of viewFirst of all, I highly doubt CSP and his staff are worried about showcasing Wigginton's skills for NBA scouts. That's more of a distraction than anything else.
Second, after the injury, the rotation had been established. Most coaches don't like messing with rotations, particularly when the team is playing well (as they were in December and early January).
Third, is Marner some sort of relation to Wigginton? He almost makes it sound like CSP was intentionally destroying Wigginton's draft stock.
CSP has to run his team the way he thinks it needs to be run. Armchair coach all you want....but you're not getting paid a lot of money to achieve results.
I'm not really disagreeing, but I don't want people to forget that you can't have players (perhaps especially freshmen) getting nervous that they'll get yanked as soon as they make 1 mistake. Even though THT maybe deserved to be yanked quickly because it seemed he rarely got better if his first 2 shots don't go in.I will also say the part I agree with more than anything was the regimented, don't sub until the first TV timeout approach. There were several games where you could tell about 2 minutes in what kind of game THT was about to have. There were games where we needed that spark earlier than the 4 minute mark. I just thought it was too regimented and not situation specific enough for my liking.
Equally wonder if Lard and Wigginton had been with the team all year.I actually wonder how the season would have gone if Lard and Wigginton had not returned to the team. I understand that the ceiling was higher with them, but they sure seemed to bring issues with them. We had obvious chemistry issues in 2017-2018 and then again the second half of this year. I thought some of the issue might have been Jackson the first year, but I doubt that now and I'm pretty sure the issue wasn't NWB.
IMO if a guy turns down an NBA opportunity to return to your program, you do everything you can to improve his draft stock the next year. That begins with STARTING him. Prohm didn't do Lindell any favors this year; he may not even be drafted now.
