I remember that game oh so well, as most of us probably do --
My fiancée/now wife were watching the game at home.
We wore our lovely cardinal-white-cardinal outfits.
We left with maybe 5:00 left in the game... thought we had it won/had a plane to catch.
Got intermittent updates from my ESPN app on the Metro. Eventually realized that we lost. I was not even angry about it. I was just flabbergasted at that point.
A day or two later, we are back in Iowa for Thanksgiving, and I was driving between Boone and Ames for some reason. Heck, might have been to pick up some Hickory Park takeout for the family. Can't have too much meat/turkey Thanksgiving week.

That one was just about as shocking. I thought he had done enough to warrant one more year to right the ship. Until the Manhattan Monstrosity went down.
