Barttorvik projections of the same right now (assuming no roster changes) --

15.9 -- Nixon
13.5 -- Haliburton
11.7 -- Young
10.2 -- Jacobson
7.4 -- Lewis
6.5 -- Anderson
3.5 -- Conditt
3.2 -- Jackson
2.5 -- Leech
2.1 -- Griffin

Adding up the top eight, assuming that is your rotation, equals 68.7.

Your top eight at the bottom (starts with Wigginton, ends with Jackson/Leech) was 78.

Just to provide some context.

I think Tre Jackson will avg more than 3ppg.. prob more like 5-6ppg..and Conditt might start and I can see him more like 6-8ppg..

I think either Terrance or Zion or maybe both are going to surprise a lot of people on this board. Some kids just take a little longer to emerge. They were both highly rated and had quite a few decent offers coming out of high school. I could see them in the 6-10 points/game area.

I really hope you are right.. I think with Terrance it’s all in his head and if he can improve defensively he will play a lot..

Conditt and SY will give more than double what lard did.. SY can avg 8-10 ppg..

I think this teams success will be on defensive end.. but landing a solid grad transfer will be diff between .500 team and tourbey team prob..
Of course he can but I don’t know if the minutes will be there for him to be able to do that. Lard could have averaged 8-10 this year as well if he played more. We have 3 bigs so it could be tough to find enough minutes for all 3 if we continue to only play 1 at a time.

Unless we land some more guards, I do not see how we do not play 3/2 next year. Jacobson, Young, Conditt, and Anderson could easily be 4/8 of our top eight players. Anderson is not talked about much, but he has the highest 24-7 ranking of the freshmen.

Ehhh....it could be that when he talks about comfortable, he's talking about the atmosphere of the school. Iowa State, Kansas State, and SDSU are quite different than UNLV.

Assuming that the comment is about TJ is silly. We have no idea.
Thought the same thing!

I look forward to seeing which freshman emerges next year. We've had a freshman on the starting lineup for a few years now. By end of year i hope to see who shows up. I'd like to see it be Leach, but none would surprise me.

2013 = Niang
2014 = Morris
2017 = Young
2018 = Wigginton, Lard
2019 = Haliburton, Horton-Tucker

...by my memory.

There aren’t any HS kids left to target who are at this level guard wise.. at least not that I’ve seen..

Think it’s KSU to lose..

On to plan C

If you people were standing in a kitchen, you'd be looking at the food that's half cooked and ******** about the final product.

Matt Thomas?

Matt started the first 15 games of that season.

Monté started the last 17 games of that season.

I just think of the "definitive" version of that season as...

Morris
Kane
Hogue
Niang
Ejim

...with Naz and Matt off the bench.

You have some case for Matt, though he did eventually move to a reserve role.

Stating the obvious here, but today’s Wheeler news makes this even more important. We’ll be fine regardless, but Grill would certainly help
