Taking on the Bulls was a money grab, $25 million worth can't blame him but it was a poor fit.

Except Iowa State was going to up his salary and he said no. The only reason he took the Nebraska job was to rehab his image to get another NBA job. The Bulls were an opportunity to coach at the highest level which is where he wants to be.

Exactly. It's why his NBA buyout at Nebby is a fraction of an NCAA buyout.

I agree so much with the Johnny comment. Fred had the opportunity to be arguably the most important figure in ISUs athletic lore. He left in a very ugly fashion that still amazes me. It's my opinion so don't even try to change it. I defended Fred on everything. I started multiple posts about not dogging on Fred's coaching that some did. I had been a long time season ticket holder driving 2 hours each way for every game for 15 years. The Michigan game with Johnny there was the most special of moments. Good ole days. Steve Prohm has shown so much of what it means to be a Cyclone. I'm happy he is ISUs coach.

Georges is Mayor now.

In all seriousness, this may not be a stretch. It started with the coffee mug in front of the lay in over ginger and the Kiss in IC took it to a new level. I am not sure what I would rather do if I had one wish. Dunk or aggravate Hok Fans like Georges did. I am pretty sure the latter.

What a ****ing traitor to the Cyclones Fred Hoiberg is.

He should never, ever work again for the rest of his life rather than take a coaching job with an old conference rival that hasn't been in the Big 12 in 8 years and that we haven't played a meaningful game against in that whole time. Coaching anywhere besides ISU means that he now hates the Cyclones.

This whole thread is f*cking peak stupidity on Cyclonefanatic.com, and that's saying quite a bit.

I'm honestly embarrassed to be a Cyclone fan right now.
