You realize that Peoples-Jones is better than anyone on your roster right? You realize ISU had better WR than Michigan last year and Martin still couldn't produce right?

Well Michigan's WRs have sucked since Martin has been there and he still couldn't produce in two years so I'm not sure why you're expecting him to be good. Throw in the fact nobody else wanted him when he entered the portal...
He entered the portal like 4 days ago man, lol. And of course Iowa would look at him, we are looking for good WRs and might as well ask and sign as many guys as possible, it is what most schools do nowadays anyway regarding recruiting.
And struggling at Michigan when he was projected to be a top 3 WR in his rs Soph year when behind guys that are projected to be drafted is not sucky WRs. That is called young WRs being developed. Like you guys are doing in Ames, developing players to be in the NFL in a few years.
Who is better than him on ISU roster? and watch their WR numbers jump up with a new style offense being installed this year. I think ISU style offense if I am not mistaken.Maybe
So let me get this straight, he was the 4 WR (so was Martin at UM) and he has the potential to be an NFL player because of his makeup and because the coaches like his potential? But Martin can not do that, or should I say no one on Iowa can be like that?

I thought I read somewhere he was going to be in that rotation as a starting X wr. But he was behind guys that were rated higher than him, in his same class, as a WR. Needless to say, I will take him at Iowa regardless for depth and competition and potential purposes. He was not projected to be a top 3 WR this year and that's why he transferred
I mean David Montgomery and Hakeem Butler had pretty good seasons their freshman years, but you could see the potential especially towards the end of the season. Then their sophomore and junior seasons they were the real deal sooo yes? And yes there are currently guys on the roster right now that have the potential to make it in the NFL at the RB and WR positions. We have two incoming freshman RB's that were highly rated, a 6'6" redshirt freshman WR who has tremendous potential, and a 6'4" redshirt freshman WR who Matt Campbell has publicly said may be the most talented WR he's ever coached. Tarique Milton is also a guy who could make it, he's only a sophomore and had a pretty dang good year last year.So what you are telling me is, ISU players can have break out years after a subpar first year and that they have guys that have potential to be NFL players on their roster at RB and WR.....
Are you talking about the WR position or the entire roster?

WR, not sure who is the next guy at ISU, but you guys always have one. But not sure any are better than him.

Well yeah you guys take anyone with a pulse at your WR spots. They don't have to be good to get a scholarship there
Hakeem maybe, not Monty. Hakeem was still a baby, football-wise in his first years at ISU.Wait, someone on here said Monty and Butler were subpar their first year stat wise, and It was an ISU fan. Not sure why he would but he did.
My point exactly. Our WRs have potential right now to develop into some good players because our WR coach said as much, but adding someone that was highly recruited by a majority of the country top schools is not dumb. ISU basketball does that all the time and it works out for them.

Hakeem's first season here he made great progressions throughout the year, and to end the year was a threat. He also had a linebacker throwing him the ball in a lot of games. David Montgomery started out as the 3rd back in the depth chart maybe? He worked his way up to the starting position and ended up running for over 500 yards, which is good considering he got less than half the snaps he got his sophomore and junior seasons.Wait, someone on here said Monty and Butler were subpar their first year stat wise, and It was an ISU fan.
