Who cares if Iowa fans are arrogant. Did you see us play today? It's up to the team to prove them wrong. If ISU plays like they did today they will lose to Iowa for the 5th year in a row.

I think you missed the point of my thread, and no I don’t see them playing anything like today in 2 weeks.

Iowa comes out of halftime throwing the ball downfield on nearly every play, and now are destroying Miami. What a shock it is when you open it up. Too bad our staff has no idea what in the hell they're doing offensively, and it nearly cost us a win today against an FCS opponent.

Our staff absolutely knows what they are doing. The last 3 years has proven enough.

Defensively.... absolutely. Offensively... no! We've been terrible offensively since CMC arrived. Thankfully the defense has been able to carry us to a lot of wins.

And no, it doesn't matter that we put up some yards today. Who cares when you don't score points and can't call a play to save your life in crucial situations.

Clonedude being a whiny ***** about any football game we don’t win by 4 touchdowns and any basketball game we don’t win by 20 is one of the few reasons I ******* hate sports season.

Don't let a 12 year old ruin your sports season, whip out that ole' ignore button. You will feel better, I know it helped me.

I would feel pretty confident if I were and Iowa fan too.
Exactly.

They are likely going to trounce us. They’ll bring an extremely prepared and disciplined team into Ames. They will have very few penalties, they will control the clock, make enough plays in the passing game (when we lose discipline), and most importantly - not let us even sniff the end zone.

I care how many yards we put up

#8 for Iowa is really getting picked on out there. I'm guessing we try to take advantage of that

Anyone that's watched ISU the last three years should know September does not define the season.

ISU on D as well was decent but overpursued a lot and missed angles so plenty of things to work on.

A more comfy win would have been good but it didn't happen.

Hopefully ISU's players aren't tucked in a corner right now crying about almost losing like some CF posters.
