The more I think about some of the suggestions I've seen the more I line Johnny Majors or John Cooper.

Fact of the matter is Iowa is known for its farming and corn, and The Field of Dreams fully embraced that and the result was an iconic movie.

I think Costner's even been back a few times for special nights at the movie set so he'd probably be just fine.

His band played in somebodies barn around the forest city area several years ago.

Peter Gibbons (Ron Livingston) from Office Space. Was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, and it says his dad was an aerospace engineer, so maybe his dad graduated from ISU? Ron himself went to Yale though.

I just do NOT want anyone associated with the U of I, or a fan of them though. JP should have enough input to not allow that, right? So no Dan Gable, no Shawn Johnson, no Zach Johnson, no Tom Arnold, no Ashton Kutcher, etc, etc.

I'd really like the astronaut too. That would be cool.

From a neutral perspective Danny Mac is the best option, but Dan Gable is right there too. It's not Gable's fault that ISU wouldn't pay for athletic tape.
