With all my thought process mentioned above, and I hope and hope I am wrong. After watching Bo Jackson and Matthew McConaughey, I predict the College Game Day Celebrity Picker will be Chris Pine in full Captain Kirk costume.
Again, we will walk away disappointed. He will be all Captain Kirk like, probably drop some line about traveling back in time and the whole nation will recognize him, he will put in his plug about being from Riverside, have his 2 minutes of fame and the show will move on.
It was a toss up between which Captain Kirk it would be, I wanted to say William Shatner but Chris Pine will be the one based on him being significantly younger and in more popular movies presently.
Yeah, either that or Lolo Jones who seems to have a very good agent these days.

I don't think any of the sportsmen mentioned (Mac, Sage, Seneca, Gable, Fred, Horny, etc) are famous enough.
If I had to bet $1, it would be on Momoa. Huge star to the younger demographic, that seems like what they go for more than connection to the university or anything.
