Predicting 7-8 wins in the regular season isn't controversial. Describing it as a disappointment and a coaching failure is what's annoying.
So you're not someone like BillBrasky that is "still
expecting big things this year", who later goes on to allude to that a being a conference title. How negative of you.
7 wins would be a disappointment, and you should rethink which one of us is annoyingly down on the program and staff if you feel otherwise.
8 wins would be a missed opportunity, which conventionally is viewed as disappointing.
I never expressed 7 or 8 wins as a coaching failure. There is a substantial difference between a season being a disappointment (7 wins) or missed opportunity (8 wins), and a coaching failure.Try not to resort to straw mans, it's
annoying and erodes your point.
What would be a failure is the offense and ST if it ends up being 7 or 8 wins because of them.
