My only reservations are that it's our first road game--and I think it's supposed to be in the 90's at gametime. Oh wait, when I checked just now, it says 92 degrees--with AM thunderstorms.

To balance pur first road trip, they have to adjust after playing three creampuffs. Not sure that usually goes well for them.

I still want to see some solid production from our RBs in this one. If those guys can get a 100 yard game on the ground, Purdy does his thing, the D does their thing, and special teams doesn't go all special ed - I think we win this one.
I thought Brock looked really good when he was out there, given it was garbage time.

Hard to know what will happen with the RBs. Lang is hurt, Kene is hurt, Croney is just not very good IMHO, so it might be up to the freshman to step up sooner than expected.

And then there’s pass protection and route running. It’s no wonder why the staff has been using all of them.

Disagree on Croney he is an utility back. He can pretty much do everything you want a back to do just not spectacular at any one thing. His style is more of a one cut and go, can catch out of the backfield but just isn't overly agile/quick. Is a plus pass blocker. Good player to have when you have a bunch of RB's that seem to get dinged alot.

I saw Croney blow two blocks that almost got Purdy killed in the ULM game, so not sure that he is any better than the freshman. Kene has looked pretty good at slowing guys down in blocking situations. Certainly not going to punish anyone like DM did. Croney has pretty consistently been at 2.2 YPC in games that he got more than a couple carries. That just isn't good enough.

Very winnable game, but that line seems about right. Baylor is capable of making this like the UNI and Iowa games. Brewster is going to be an issue.

It’ll be big to not have turnovers and special teams blunders.
I sure wish the defense could get more 3rd down stops. Give the offense possessions, and they will score.
