I was wondering what was taking so long for them to send it. Must have been looking for a big enough box.

“You know what Toby, when the son of the deposed king of Nigeria emails you directly, asking for help, you help! His father ran the freaking country! Ok?”

I enjoy responding to these emails. It's fun to pretend to not understand what information they want, try to get them talking about other stuff, etc. Eventually they just stop replying. :(

I had a similar experience with a phone scammer last week. Said they needed to enable 5G on my phone and wanted me to provide information and an access code that they were going to text me. They gave up after about 15 minutes of me asking how to access my text messages.

I always have to ask what car they are calling about to extend my cars warranty. My 2020 or my 1998...

Not exactly sure.

I try to get it on my 1998 with 198000 miles, and say I’m glad they called because the tranny seems a little off and that the warranty is cheaper than what the repair is.

the one further response I have gotten was oh we are only looking for 2003-2013 model years.
