Lol, whatever you say. I blame 2015-16 on bad coaching, you can blame it on lack of depth, who knows which one of us is right, people will take my approach, people will take yours.
Heres my argument, Prohm has shown time and time again for 5 years now he likes playing only about 7 guys on average, last year you could argue he only went 6 deep even though that entire roster was stacked. So what makes you think 2015-16 would have been so much better if we had 8-9 guys? The last 2 or 3 would still be getting minimal minutes. You mean to tell me on a roster of 12 guys he inherited, only 6 were even worthy of being on the basketball floor at any time? Really? So they sucked so bad he couldnt even put them in for 3 or 4 minutes at a time to give the regulars a rest? Who are you going to cut down minutes on? Niang? Morris?
Fran somehow manages to throw walk-ons and the 10th and 11th guys on the roster in the game for meaningful minutes and they dont go from up 20 to down 20 in 5 minutes. Thats probably a reason you dont see guys leaving all the time in his program either.
Weve seen time and time again how overrated depth is. People kept saying for 3 years, "Just wait until we get depth", that finally happened last year and the results werent any different than the first 2 years when they had minimal depth.
