I want Prohm fired. But I'm still going to cheer for them to win every game. Duh. And if they lose? Eh, whatever. I'll probably turn the channel after they get down by 15-20. Not interested in watching them chuck up a bunch of bricks from three the rest of the game.

Go Cyclones.
I just watch to see Tyrese ball out at this point.

You would think a top ten pick could take over every game they played in. TH has tons of potential. Probably won't see it until he's in the NBA though. :(

TH would be able to attack more if our guards could knock down open looks. The defensive game plan against us is sag into the lane until we show that we can hit threes. TH is going really struggle to get open looks the rest of the year.

Sure he had a tough game against Kansas but he's taken over most of the games this year. He's averaging almost 17/7/7, that's insane at the college level.

Way up there

We need our coach to get creative with how he uses his best shooter or there is no way to overcome this. Running the same high ball screen over and over again hoping it will work is playing directly in to the defenses hands. Everything needs to go through Tyrese but it doesn't have to happen at the top of the key with a ball screen. He needs to find ways to get Tyrese good looks at the shots he's comfortable taking (remember how well he shot from the corners last year).

I really don't care who labels me what for how I feel. The facts speak for themselves. I don't believe we're good, I don't like the direction we appear to be heading and I am critical of the coach.

Do I cheer against them? Never. Am I pissed when we get embarrassed? Yep.

It doesn't matter if I'm a basketball genius or know more or less than the coach...any more than If I have a medical opinion or religious opinion and don't have PHD's in either.

I am frustrated because of lack of performance all the way through the program and as a fan, I don't need to justify it to anyone. I'm so ******* tired of people telling me how to be a fan. Stay in your lane...if you don't like me, I don't really give a ****. Paint your face cardinal and gold and get in the front row and say #1 to the camera. I don't think your silly for doing it, you just have a different way of showing support.

Go State!
Well said!

It makes you wonder. What is worse? Questioning coaching decisions and frustration with the trajectory of the program or people that lurk in the background on here waiting to criticize opinions of others. Opinions posted on an opinion-based forum. Criticism filled with name calling and over the top hyperbole.

He has done it, sure. Mostly, on fast breaks and open threes, which is great, but what about when those aren't there? How long did it take him to take a shot against Iowa? He has the ability to create his own shot and drive to the rim. It's raw, but it's there, and he does it every once in a while. He needs to do it more. He seems too worried about passing to teammates that are pretty incompetent shooters. The kid is freakishly gifted.

I mean Prohm sent him to a rehab center for the summer so I don't think the numbers are all that difficult to crunch.

I understand that. From what I seen, Cam wasn't putting himself in the best positions the season prior. But why allow a player to rejoin a team and not utilize him? If he were as cancerous as some indicate, why not remove him from the program? As good as Jacobson was in the first stretch of the season, a point came where he needed to be replaced with Lard and it never happened. I'm not saying Lard followed his end of the bargain, but to present the optics as if he did and then to not properly utilize him doesn't make sense to me. All I'm saying is if Lard was a cancer to the program, he should have been removed from the team.

That guy is terrible.

Prohm could show up to his next presser and say "I am actively trying to sabotage Iowa State Basketball" and the guy would say "Well, let's not jump to conclusions, sabotage can mean several different things..."
I don't follow him, but the twitter-machine has decided I need to see all of his tweets. it's annoying
