At this point Baylor’s missed shots are basically
Passes to their guy rebounding it
Exactly this. In the first half they'd run pnr, and if Iowa St switched, instead of trying to get the ball to the big man on the mismatch, they'd just shoot the 3, and if they miss they use the big man advantage to get an easy putback.

Geez these reviews just show how bad Iowa St is at rebounding. Just stare at the ball as it goes up.

I think there's a poster or two on here that think boxing out is overrated.

That's kind of a crazy way to look at it.

I wonder why our guys give up offensive boards. Then I watch our guys not named Solomon turn and run under the hoop on a shot.

Sometimes the fundamentals on this team are shockingly horrible.

I do think there's an element of natural ability to rebounding, some have it, and some don't. I'd call Hogue a natural rebounder. He knew where he had to be. Guys like solo though need to box out though.
