What coach is gonna want to come to ISU knowing that he might be fired after one bad season? Prohm may not be the answer long term, but he should get at least one more year.

That was the initial point of Jamie’s tweet about following

We’ve only had one bad season?

PS - I heard the same “we can’t do better, nobody will want the job” for years while McDermott failed here.

Steve prohm. But love the lack of context.

Impressive work

It’s year 5. Our roster sucks. Last years recruiting class was subpar.... to be charitable. We got beat at home by Florida A and M. We got repeatedly crushes at home in big 12 play. Bubble teams beat us by 25 plus. We’re 17-37 the last three seasons in big 12 play.

Is that enough context?

This program can do better cause this year was a **** show last year was underperforming and conference record keeps getting worse. If we did some things well this year to carry into next season I’d personally feel better, but I don’t. Our offense was a joke as was defense. It’s not trending in the right direction and that’s not good.

I think that's a very small portion but I know that jereisb dude seemed pretty proud of not liking CSP from the start.

I actually have more respect for jereisb now than I did before ever since he admitted that, instead of trying to fool us.

I'd be willing to bet that any coach might at least change their approach if they had one bad season, a decent season, and then the worst season loss-wise in over 40 years without any real signs of momentum.

I have stated before I am in the camp of giving Prohm another season, and believe that Jamie thinks the same way.

If we are in the same boat next year, we can him, but at least give him to opportunity to dig himself out of this hole.

My problem is Wayne Morgan was never given that chance. 1 year after an NCAA appearance, he was fired.

I know right?! How dare Prohm put guys in the NBA before they graduate?!!!
Or maybe you know, recruit a grad transfer or juco to fill the gaps. We have 2 open scholarships this year that prohms filling with next years freshman. We are playing walkons cause we don't have a full team.

More like guys with a foot out the door before the season is even over even if the NBA isn't assured.

Just checked and THT has logged 2 games...I'd give him the most confidence sticking with a roster at some point.
