Or maybe you know, recruit a grad transfer or juco to fill the gaps. We have 2 open scholarships this year that prohms filling with next years freshman. We are playing walkons cause we don't have a full team.
Oh, I agree, but he did get Bolton. Not all world but I think he will be a solid player next year. Nixon was a bust, but I liked his effort and attitude. Shayak was great, so right there its +2 for Prohm on transfers. I will totally agree that he has been hit or miss with his recruiting though. Last years class was totally unacceptable and that isn't an attack on either Jackson or Grill.

The minor leagues aren't major league baseball? You guys are so petty. How much money did you guys make in your professional basketball careers? Matt Thomas, Georges Niang, Naz, all made their way through the G-league. Does that minimize their accomplishments? Or is it just that you guys are incapable of conceding anything to Prohm's benefit?

This has zero to do with Prohm for me. I get really tired of the same people ******** and complaining about him and Iowa State basketball. The NBA is the NBA and the G League is the minor league.

To my knowledge Matt Thomas didn't play in the G League.

It's great if former ISU players make it happen in the NBA, but what evidence is there that any of those players are there because of CSP?

I wouldn't have given Fred credit because BDJ (RIP) had some success there.

I imagine you would think Zion Williamson wouldn't have been a lottery pick if he were coached by Prohm then? People who are one and done are going regardless of their coach, sans injury or something drastic. There are basically no coaches who will take a 3 star guy and make a lottery pick after 1 year, but when Prohm recruits well and they leave early you think he deserves no credit for their advancement? I'm no Prohm apologist but there a few on here beating a dead horse, and its getting really tired. We know we suck. We know Prohm isn't the greatest coach ever, and we know that it's not going to change our present situation no matter how long we exhaust points such as these.

Zion Williamson is a lottery pick no matter who is coaching him, sure.

I'm not sure at this point if Hali isn't a late bloomer. If Bruce Weber was able to get good results out of him, it would mean many coaches would be able to.

Wigginton would have gone and gotten feedback after his first year no matter who his coach was, and he would have left early no matter who his coach was.

THT...was he doing anything at the end of last year that suggested he'd developed much from coaching?

Lard...didn't he announce he was going to transfer before going the pro route? Was there anything you saw last year that made you think he had developed enough to try to go pro? What is he even doing now?

And Monte? and Nader? And Burton? And Thomas? Just admit it, you are unwilling to give Prohm any credit.

It's not a Prohm thing-- I'm not willing to give college coaches in general much credit for anyone's professional success.

What specifically did Fred Hoiberg do to get BDJ time in the league?

What are you seeing from any of those players' skillsets now that relates to their time with CSP? Have they given CSP credit for where they are? Not arguing, actually wondering. Very cool if they have.
