Our group of 4 are pushing our tickets to next season. My wife has several risk factors and with the unknown of how many games and which games we just decided to give the AD an interest free loan.

As we await Jamie's decision regarding football attendance between the "no fans", "25% capacity", or "50% capacity" scenarios, for those of you among the 30,000 that purchased season tickets, have any of you already decided to opt out for the season? Or seriously considering opting out if fans are allowed? Or still "wait and see"?

I’m in no matter what but not sure I’ll go or not. Call it an investment if no fans.

Have 6 tickets and I might be going by myself so at least I will have plenty of room.

Depending on what they decide to do for season ticket holders and who goes to what games. I am definitely interested in any tickets to games I’m not assigned too (if that’s what they do)

Even if they go with the 50% plan, there will far less than 50% people in attendance based on this unofficial survey in which many people have already opted out.

Yeah will be interesting how it is handled. Hopefully everyone that wants to go will be able to as safely as possible.

18 in our main group of 48 have opted out for this season and I expect a few more will join them soon.

Anybody looking for tickets in the front row of the southwest corner?

I'm hoping for a mix of Options 2 and 3. If enough people opt out, we could be at 25% without having to go the split-season route. Or give everyone 4 or 5 games instead of just 3.

1 name so guess I am screwed if either of them want to bail
I think so. I just can't see the AD's office letting people split up how their tickets are treated, that sounds like a real pain to administer.

Plus, can't you guys actually "donate" the tickets and receive benefits for it? I don't know how you could do that for just one of the tickets

was that a fan outbreak? If so what capacity were they at? I thought I heard it was organizers that got it as well as crew/drivers.
Heard that was due to people gathering at a bar across the street or something. The track has had solid protocol which had been successful all summer.

We have 4 in the stands, 3 hillside for the kids. I wonder what they'll do with the hillsides. I don't know that we're all going anyway, but we will get some use out of the tickets if they let us attend.

We won’t go but wondering what they will do about students because we would just give them to our two students if that is the only way they can go. Guess we will just email them back with “it’s complicated,” and hope it works out.

Not exactly sure.

My son was charged for his tickets, then had it refunded to him, and a week ago was charged for them again. So they have been all over with the students.

Pulled the plug tonight, and I'll call the ticket office tomorrow. We will either convert to a donation if it's an option, or hold the payment over to next season.
We've been avoiding stores, travel, people...

As much as we both want to go to the games, it would be irresponsible on our part after being so careful all this time.

Who the heck knows what we'll do for basketball.
*Le sigh*

Football seems safer than basketball, but I haven’t even been in a public restroom since February. That’s a win even without a pandemic.

Both our students are very careful as they are around a child with underlying conditions. They might just go with our tickets to avoid a crazy student crowd, but young people seem more considerate to me than the middle aged folks so not sure our seats are that much safer. Middle aged woman in Walmart by pharmacy kept lowering her mask to cough.

My husband is an essential worker serving a vulnerable population and I have asthma and we are old. We can watch on TV with John Walters call on radio.

Still trying to wrap my head around ISU threatening college aged students with action if partying and or large groups but will be allowing any % of people at football games. I know we live in the age of hypocrisy but come on.
