Yeah, I love Jamie, but this isn't a great idea. You are having the highest percentage of fans in one of the largest hotspots in a state with one of, if not the, fastest growing infection rates.

It would actually depend on the size of the groups. I don’t know how wide each seat space is, but for easy math, ifthe average group size is 3, then you could have about 4 seats between each group if needed. I would think that would be about 6 feet. Ideally, there’d be 6 feet between every group, but it won’t work out that way. If masks truly work and fans don’t high five or take their masks off, it should work. I am hopeful at least. I don’t envy anyone in decision making positions.
But are they reseating people for this year? I don't know if the math works, but even if it did, the only way it would work is if they reassigned seats so that all the different groups of fans were at least six feet from each other

We're going. Got new ISU masks ordered and ready to follow the guidelines to ensure we all get to go to six games this year if we want to!

I am very comfortable with safe distanced outdoor activities now - I went to Sturgis this year and can report that I stayed healthy. Avoided crows like the plague. Wait, too soon? Seriously, I didn't even get off the bike in Sturgis (where the news showed all the no mask, no social distance.) Rode the Hills like it was my last chance to do it, camped, had a great week with good friends! And have the shirt (and commemorative mask) to prove it.
Looking for a good ISU mask. The one I got through the alumni association is awful. Anybody with a good link or source? I live in the Quad Cites. TIA

Here is the COVID seating chart for the stadium. Yes, they are moving at least half of the ticket holders to different seats...

Will be interesting to see how many choose to take their "new" seats as you will have some whose seats are at the top of the upper level in the far corners...

Not exactly sure.
Yes, that would be the smart marketing move by her. She does realize that not all ISU students are getting their testing done on-campus? And that they are spreading it to the community? Just checking because the 906 number jives with Johns Hopkins' totals for the last seven days for the county:

Correct. And while masks are a mitigation tactic that helps a lot, it is just one of many efforts that need to be followed. This is irresponsible., but consistent with ISU's approach.

And not all students live in story county or get tested there. So should she add those in? There are two who are online in our town 90 minutes away. One got tested and was negative, was that included or should it be. We can what if this for weeks but it won’t get us anywhere.

I think we first must realize that the numbers in Story county are not good.

Yes that is what they said they are doing.

Well....two weeks to fix that. We've seen in a lot of places around the country that sometimes really bad numbers tend to come down fast once that corner is turned.

My 2 cents:

He's VERY clear regarding the consequences. If those of you that are part of the 25K fans in attendance do NOT follow the procedures laid out, there will be NO fans at the Oklahoma game.

This is on YOU, people. Do it right.
The newly hired Frank Marino security team will deal with people not wearing masks

I ordered a couple from Cy’s Lockerroom, they have youth sizes. I also ordered directly from Rock Em, Cy’s and UBS sell their masks. I went directly to Rock Em b/c they had a 3-pack with the different designs for a discount. I’ll probably order bandanas from UBS later, not to use as face coverings (they’re just cool.)
