Hell no.Texas notifies Big 12 to contact Iowa State to play this weekend!

Kansas and its coaching staff have already given up. There's no accountability and the assistant coaches have no interest in coaching, just worrying about their next destination. There have been fights in practice without repercussions so seeing them have an outbreak isn't all that surprising.
We're better than that...We're not the Pac10/12. We're the Big12!Texas notifies Big 12 to contact Iowa State to play this weekend!
Weird, since someone else posted earlier about Texas getting to paste KU while we sat on an extended bye.Great so Texas gets a long break before they play us, while we have to grind out a K-State Game, then turnaround 6 days later to Austin.
50-50, according to people with “inside info”. Some are saying definitely yes, some are saying definitely no.Likelihood of K-State game being canceled?
Because they’ll try to be better than KU?Makes me feel better about KSU

To be fair, they’ve probably been working on ISU as much as KU anyhow. It does suck that Texas gets to throw out their scouting report for the KU game today and start working on their game plan for us.
I don't think those are connected at all. Pollard making the decision for no fans was based on the current COVID climate within our state. This game not being played comes down to either Kansas State's inability to stay disciplined or just pure bad luck. I lean towards the former on that.
It would be a 4D chess move by Pollard to get the good PR of announcing they're doing their part to fight Covid with no fans for a game that doesn't actually happen.
Agreed. That’s a very long layoff for Texas before ISU.I almost think this is a good thing.
Ya, I've always found Brock to be a good player. I never thought he was a leave early first rounder. Maybe he still can be? but this year doesn't lend to that. This doesn't really make sense though, we have a better run game he's a less efficient passer. He'll likely finish this year with his worst completion % and QB rating will be significantly worse. Those things have nothing to do with how much we throw, in fact, those should both be higher based on less passing and a better run game. This is is worst WR group hands down but he hasn't been the guy we saw the first two years. The good news is, even with lower numbers, he's still a really good QB.
Can't do that this year, there ARE NO bad teams this year. Everyone is bowlin'!!!!I was thinking about whether you just shut down the bad teams in each conference that aren't going to make bowl games.. but then essentially 75% of the Big 10 would have to shut it down.
In a perfect world, yes, every team would go bowling. But, some bowls are not going to happen due to $$. There have been quite a few already that have said they aren't going to have their game. Lower end bowls mostly. Can't do that this year, there ARE NO bad teams this year. Everyone is bowlin'!!!!
