McKennie to Southampton it looks like. Good spot. Lost a CM to Spurs. Guess he wants PL, so the other BL teams that were after him are pulling back.

Also, Reyna is good.

I can't wait for the obligatory Spurs purchase in a few years time.

Antonee Robinson to Fulham. So we now have a few in the PL. Although Berhalter won't call him in because Lovitz needs some run or something.

Man City looking at acquiring Lionel Messi from Barcelona. If this deal goes through Messi could potentially (eventually) play for New York City FC after 3 years.

This potential trade is a pretty big deal for La Liga, EPL, and MLS

Messi would love playing on that basketball court sized pitch in Yankee stadium!

WMcK to Juve now. Pirlo came in and moved the needle on him. I guess if you want a holding MFer to learn from someone, that would be the guy. Although Berhalter will make him a winger or something.

Thiago Alcantara to Liverpool. The champions add one of the best midfielders in the world to the mix. The reds didn't need much in this transfer window, but this is the big one. Now need cover for the front three (Sarr) and maybe another CB. Otherwise, title defense is on!

For £20m too, paid in £5m installments over the 4 years of his contract. Heck of a deal by Edwards!

Not sure we need another CB, Fabinho can be the emergency cover there. Sarr would be a good one to add upfront though.

Gomez/Matip injury history worries me. Fab is solid cover, but weakens the midfield by putting him in the back line. Think a 4th choice CB would be wise, but certainly think cover upfront is more crucial. Can always go back for a CB in January window. It's a concern though... a few injuries (from injury prone players) away from having Fab or one of the kids (Koumetio, Hoever, Van Den Berg) playing back there.

NBC is definitely putting a lot of matches behind the Peacock paywall this year. Not nearly as many matches on NBCSN so far this season. It doesn’t really effect me as I’d be paying for Peacock anyway to watch Fulham, but it certainly sucks for the more casual fans that would watch whatever was on NBCSN.

I know there haven't been many matches played, but I just realized there hasn't been a draw this year yet. I know a record was set last year. It seems odd watching so many matches end without one.

That’s what they signed Jota for. And Minimino last January.

A fourth choice CB wouldn’t be a bad thing to add, but I’m not concerned between Fab and the kids. Having 8 midfielders in the first team lets JK be more flexible using Fab in defense.

Happy Friday - I see light at the end of a grueling work week! I'm dialed in for Cyclones / Mountaineers football on Saturday and a North London Derby on Sunday. I expected to see some trash talk from the vocal Arsenal contingent, but crickets chirping...

I would like to see the Canaries come back. They actually play football unlike the Tony Pulis type of drudgery.
