Where they love the governor
Several years ago at a buddy's wedding in Cabo, spent $150 on a single cigar.

Same vacation, bought a round of Cabo Wabo tequila shots at Sammy Hagar's bar, found the $225 receipt in my pocket the next morning.

Just recently got my credit card privileges back from wifey.

Went to Cabo for our honeymoon. Got tons of coupons for buy one get one at Sammy's bar.

And we used them.

Knick knack collectibles. Harbour light lighthouses. Have over 100 of them and value is worthless. They are neat and all but take space and collect dust

What’s the dumbest purchase you’ve made? I’m not talking like realizing you’ve over paid for a car and have buyers remorse, more like something you would have 100% been better off without.

I’ll start: spent $100 on CBD oil as I was told it would help with poor sleep and anxiety. Didn’t do a damn thing. Felt like I got duped by a snake oil salesmen. Might as well have purchased a $100 bottle of water.
Coolest cooler. Spent $200+ Used it twice then the blender quit working. My one and only Kickstarter.

Bought a round of shots at Paddy's buck bottles once. Not a great choice, but it was worse since my buddy was back recruiting for Microsoft and had a corporate tab open. He tried to get them, but I refused since I was making that sweet undergrad in a university lab money.

$8 filipino hooker back in 2004. That was a really bad purchase.

Seriously though, I dropped $10,000 for two Camaros when I was 19. They were great cars, but some meth addict kiddie f#cker stole them after I had them a few months and he traded them for meth. I still owe him a baseball bat to the skull.

After owning probably 12 cars, I decided I wanted a truck. I was also thinking about buying a pontoon, which never happened but would have probably replaced the truck as the du best thing I ever bought.

Bought a new Dodge Ram and it was really nice. The problem is that I soon realized I hated driving a pickup. They are fine out on the interstate cruising but just so big for everything else. Every time I drove it I felt like I was going to work as an OTR trucker.

After I accepted my first job offer out of college, I went and bought a fully loaded, brand new Altima. I know it’s not a corvette, but it was still $27,000 I didn’t need to spend. I looked at my job offer and then the payment and thought “I can easily afford this.” I failed to factor in all other expenses like rent, student loans, etc. I kept it for 10 years and 100,000 miles and I hated every one of those payments.

In HS, Doc Martens were the status symbol of the day. I just HAD to have a pair. Went to the mall and all they had was a size 14 but I’m like an 11/12. Bought them anyway because I was stupid. Wore them for a couple days and they gave me blisters because they were so big. Never wore them again.

Seriously though I have two really cheap air impact wrenches that couldn't knock a nut loose from my kids bike if their life depended on it. I paid over $100 for each of them and neither one of them will take a lug nut loose.

One thing I learned when I had a truck was that it was much easier to back into parking spots.
