Xavier and its not even close. Also, if Prohm has any common sense, he starts Harris second half and puts him on Bohannon. But, I’m going to guess Harris sits on the bench until the under 12 timeout while Bohannon goes off.

Whatever Prohm does it's going to be wrong.

Honestly, players like that who can dominate but never be what the NBA is lusting after are key to a good team if you aren't Kentucky/Duke that can plug in five stars

And, coincidentally, Kentucky/Duke don't seem to able to win national championship since going all in on one & done.

That's what happens when our biggest defensive liabilities are all of our posts. They're immobile defensively, don't track boards well and don't box out hardly at all. Makes it very, very easy for an aggressive team like Iowa to hang points on us and collect extra possessions.

It not a problem when your running great offense and draining threes on the other end. I can’t really remember our last stout defensive team. Or one that had true post players that rebounded. Hell even Royce white wasn’t a monster in defense.

Yes. They are calling the game from a studio in Des Moines.

Back to the remote broadcast by Walters and Heft. Who made the call to have to do it remotely? Our guys or the Hawks?

It would seem to me to let the broadcasters in to do their jobs? Guess not.

Gotta say, I'm mildly surprised with our play, in a good way. Probably get blown out in the 2nd half, but hung in longer than I expected.

I've not been anti Prohm but I'm certainly leaning that way. No offense and throw in no defense, not a good combination. He needs 5 star guys to coach so he then doesn't need much coaching. Guess there's still football, but I'm a basketball guy at heart first. I just don't see anything that tells me it will be better soon. JP time to move on. Find a way or you'll lose the fans, especially with the success of football.

My advice to you is to embrace the mediocrity, because Prohm isn’t going anywhere soon. I debated not watching this game, but I just can’t quit the Cyclone. Prohm on the other hand...

JW has made it very clear that it was Iowa’s decision to put them up in a closet haha
They are getting the video board feed, so multiple times there’s been a replay and they miss the ISU play. They are pissed.

Honestly, we have played with the number three team in the nation for 1/2. For this group that should be considered a win.
