It's not really about losing this game. It's about how the team looks. They look clueless on both ends of the floor. And I'm not necessarily putting that cluelessness on the players. This staff just is not putting a product out there that gives off any glimmer of hope.

The had 24 def rebounds and out rebounded us by 9. Garza only 3 ribbies
we didn't shoot too bad: 44% FB and 41% trey - and still lose by 28.
Biggest deficit loss in my 44 years.

Against a Final Four team on the road

Iowa is very good, no doubt. But if you look at them individually, they are not great outside of Garza.

But Fran puts them in a system to be as successful as possible. Something that doesn’t happen in Ames.

We will find out when they play Gonzaga. I think they are a legit top-10 team. Remember in college hoops these days, there is a drastic drop off in number of really good teams after the first 6-7 teams usually. Because everyone leaves early for the NBA.

And many teams will take a long time to even learn one another's names before they play good ball. One of those is ISU. Unfortunately those other teams' ceiling is higher.

Prohm's recruiting success is truly mystifying. What high school kid watches this team and says, "I want to be a part of that." But hey, at least they didn't quit in the first half.
