This Terrance Lewis guy is averaging 6 ppg at South Alabama. Hope Prohm is taking a good look at him.
Ironic that Tyreke Locure is doubling up Lewis’ production, leading his team in assists, second in rebounding as a 5’10 PG, and they didn’t even offer him out of Des Moines North.

There is no way, covid or not, that you can bring this guy back if he rolls a donut in the W column in the Big 12.

This team will be lucky to win 5 games. Bringing him back set the program back 10 years. The pieces are here to win soon,

Jackson State and Chicago State are horrible, like other buyout game teams blow them out bad.

That gets three, presuming that we show up a little. Probably get one virtually by accident in conference play.

So, 4 wins this year is the high end.

I wonder how many people have said that Coach K or Bill Self recruited too well. Mental gymnastics is moving at an all time pace if you say a coach has recruited so well his team can't win.
You honestly think Iowa State’s program is on the same level as Duke & Kansas? If you do then you’re right.

I've been a Prohm appologist the past couple years just based on the fact that I think he's a really good person and I badly wanted him to succeed here at ISU but I'm having a hard time defending him now. We saw this last year with the apathetic play, guys looking like they don't know where they are supposed to be on the court and lack of leadership. Time for a change but with financial hardship brought on by covid it'll be hard to justify buying him out.

He cannot coach. Period. K-State is not good, but Weber preaches tough defense and they at least have an idea of what they want to try and do on offense. We cannot play individual or team D, and we have no idea of what to do on offense. I'd honestly like someone to tell me what our strategy is. Seems to be - get the ball to the first open 3 point shooter and chuck it, no matter how bad of a shooter that person is. We can't recruit and run a dribble drive offense with 5 studs like Kentucky. We need a strategy. Prohm is in so far over his head I'm not sure he knows what to do at this point. We are going to plummet past McDermott-level suckitude fast. Thank God for the lack of crowds and focus on the season at this point. We need to put this behind us and change course quickly. Not sure we can afford a buyout, but Jamie needs to come up with something creative to get rid of Prohm and to try and right the ship. We are at "starting from scratch" level.

Prohm defender here. Unfortunately, it’s time.

Yeah, I would describe myself in that fashion as well (and I'll still defend him for his good seasons, instead of whining about beating double digit seeds to get to the Sweet Sixteen).

But...these kinds of losses are becoming all too frequent during his tenure, and it just sucks all the life and energy out of a once-proud program. I was decorating the Xmas tree with the family last night and we had the game (with the sound off) in the background. I had to turn it off at halftime because I didn't want to ruin a pleasant evening by watching whatever that was.

Reach out to either Thad Matta or John Beilein to see their level of interest in coaching again and how much it would cost to bring them back to the sideline. This cannot continue.

Iowa State University gave Prohm a solid foundation with tradition, solid resources, a rabid fanbase, good players and made him a multi-millionaire.

Yet none of you...even those who defend, would invest in Steve Prohm if he was a stock. Prove me wrong.

Are we the worst team in all of major college basketball?

There's no one in the Big 10 we'd beat.

There's no one in the Big 12 we can say we are better than.

There's no one in the SEC we are better than.

In the ACC we'd maybe be favored over Boston College?

I'm not sure there's anyone in the Big East we beat. Maybe Depaul?

In the Pac 12 maybe Oregon State?

Let that sink in. Not only are we bottom of the Big 12, we are easily one of the 5 worst teams in all of major college basketball.

I remember thinking Florida A&M was horrible last year.
