As someone who is incredibly superstitious (I.e. I blame myself for not finding the right clothing combo for the basketball games

Yep - I, for one, will be doing my part by wearing the same shirt I've worn for the past 3 football games (it's a football specific shirt, so don't worry - no bad BBall juju).

This is dumb. Teams are required to wear contrasting jersey colors. Almost always that means one wears a team color and the other wears white. That's the convention ... home team in colors, visiting team in white. Saying black jerseys are "just the same as white ones, what's your problem?" is a poor argument.
I'll say I haven't been a fan of the black uniforms, I'd prefer team colors (and no, saying black was an Iowa State color a hundred years ago doesn't make it one now) but ... it doesn't really bother me that much or affect my life at all. If the players like them, and if they think they play better in them, then good for them.

No. I don't hate traditional away white jerseys. I don't hate the black ones either, just would rather see Iowa State wear Iowa State colors. I'm weird I guess.

Should go with red just for that reason alone.

I'm not normally superstitious, but today is my last day of work for the week as I took the next 2 days off. Wore my black ISU polo, with black pants, and a black face mask in hopes that I would have a good day at work. Got all my work completed and have glanced at CF more than normal. I’m trusting this process.
