One of Hoibergs teams got pounded by 35 or something up there and Prohm usually takes a beating. Of all the times to criticize Prohm playing in Morgantown, this wasn't the night.******* deandre Kane got hosed there.

I mean its great we had a shot with a minute left, but we absolutely **** the bed at the end. The game turned when we couldnt inbound it and our guy didnt know he could, or should, be moving on the baseline. It was then punctuated with stepping out of bounds on a break, and finalized with a corner 3 airball to finish us off. Hopefully some more time playing gets these things out of our system. Showing up and actually trying is half the battle. Basketball is fickle enough that real effort should get us some wins this year.Not the night for the criticizing. I'd even vote to.open Hilton on Sunday.
Yep, I know it's ridiculous. But that was the latest reminder of how he's not the man for the job.
I can't be in practice, so I give passes on poor execution.. Honestly seen alot of balls on boards etc not bounce our way, so given him a pass on alot this year.
But that timeout was a terrible idea and lacked game awareness.
If you think this is Steve Prohm's worst night as ISU's coach then you are either insane or have been living on Mars for 6 years.

What is your opinion as to Prohm’s worst coaching? There are a lot of options, I’ll give you that much.
Positives: played hard; didn't give up; Bolten;
3 freshmen contributed, as did GC; Bolten
Did you ever consider they had an off night because we had a good game plan to disrupt them?
Nope. The metrics show that they were off on their usual points. We jumped up on our statistics mainly our shooting percentage. I'm not going to take this as a trend. This game is an anomaly that ended in a loss.Did you ever consider they had an off night because we had a good game plan to disrupt them?
If there’s anything this game showed us tonight, it’s that they definitely have a shot at beating Jackson State on Sunday.
I sew the difference... But that's not been the norm. I also saw alot of balls bounce our way tonight that kept this game closer than it potentially could have been, and is making 3 pointers we've been missing before.I dont think he's a good coach and I want him gone also but ffs if you can't see the difference with how they played tonight compared to the last couple games I dont know what to tell you.
Probably shouldnt be too hard to claim looking at our record. We have 1 win against a nobody.There were a handful of guys who you can argue played their best game of the year.
Freshman 7 footers usually do.One good thing from this game, Conditt actually showed up for a game.
One down thing for this game. Foster has a lot work to do.
No, but Iowa State basketball has had too much success the last 35 years to suffer a fool like the current HC. He inherited far more than any of his predecessors and has managed to drive it into the ditch in a few years. It’s painful to watch. But watch I will because I will be an Iowa State fan long after Prohm has left.Guessing you've been talking to Pollard about your availability, then?
FT difference hurt but so did 21 turnovers. Tough one to lose but there were a lot of things that we did well that we had struggled with all year. Ball movement was much better, we got a lot of good looks going to the basket and not settling for 3's and we battled them on the boards. They have a huge advantage there but we had more guys boxing out and getting in the lane for rebounds than we had all year.
At least a half dozen of those turnovers were bogus charging calls. The coach doesn't have the whistle.37-9 free throw differential. ISU had 21 turnovers. How is that good coaching?
