I'd add get a turnover or a long kick return at some point in third quarter or better yet both.
I've gotta say that the refs had been kinda bad, but the reality is that by the rule, Young targeted, and by the rule, OU was not offsides.
It sucks but ISU is beating themselves in this game. Isheem is a great player but he plays dangerously and it is costing his team. Our kickers are just awful and our coverage is also bad. Running into the kicker, although it didn't affect the game, was just plain DUMB. Purdy under threw a lob in the end zone and was picked. The pass was open and he just straight up threw it very poorly. OU's defense is absolutely destroying our O-line.
The fix is not in. OU is just playing better and smarter right now.

The game is not over yet. One thing is for sure, this team will not quit until the final whistle. I am proud of these kids win or lose. Go Cyclones.
He's one of the better coaches in the country, but not the best..... not with special teams like this I'm afraid.
He said something like “I’d like to ask your opinion of how awful the refs are but
you can’t comment, so I’ll say that”.
Have to score and get a stop right away. Lack of vertical routes is sorta disappointing because we’ve had good success when pushing it down the field
There have been FAR worse performances by 'championship level programs'.
If this half doesn't pan out, and things work out Covid wise we still get to watch this team play again after such a stupid year.
Did you see the family holding the sign with a Clemson and ND logo saying “Our daughters college decision depends on this game”? If you are going to make your college choice based on a football game then something is off.
Brady Quinn and Matt Lienhart totally creep me out and I would totally keep my young sons away from them.
