You don't get another year after two 20-loss seasons.
We're losing out. There's no way we can keep this guy.
Well, if we can pull out one win somewhere, somehow, assuming we lose first round of conf tourney, we would end up 3-19 so technically short of 20 loss season but much worse than last year.

And if COVID had just shut things down 24 hours earlier last March, no 20 loss season

I feel bad for these kids to constantly go out there and keep getting kicked in the teeth.

I think Hunter might help next season if they start him and then move Bolton to the 2, but our lack of big men and rebounding I don't see improving when we lose our best post player and have 2 guards coming in.

I think this program is trending in the wrong direction, but don't think JP makes a move after this season, but next year if they aren't close to the NCAA bubble then ISU might move on from SP. That would be 3 poor seasons in a row and 4 out of the last 5.

TRENDING?? What are you talking about? We are one of the, if not THE, worst teams in P5. This program is dead right now.

I would say its rock bottom, but just wait til four players leave after the season and NOBODY wants to come play for Prohm, because he cant help you get better individually and his teams set records for losing. They wont be able to beat Coe College next year if Prohm returns, because they will have equal talent and better coaching.

Trending. Jfc.

I thought earlier this year that JP knew he had to fire CSP, but would hang on one more year to save buyout money. Blame covid, etc. But now? Idk. This team is GONE, Prohm has lost them entirely. Easily half the players could transfer. JP may simply pull the trigger, and finance the buyout.

Most of the players don't look like they pick up a ball all week, I'm done watching this year.

If Prohm is back next year - 10 win team for him to fully implode the brand/future.
Call Fred.

Where do you see 10 wins? Where do you see 5?

You mean 21 turnovers vs 17 made baskets

There's lots of laughs to be had with this stat line.

ISU had more turnovers AND fouls than baskets made. They allowed SEVENTEEN offensive rebounds on 36 missed shots. They shot 24 threes despite only making 4 of them. I didn't watch but I'm also guessing some of those missed threes led to numerous fast break opportunities the other way. Speaking of which they had 21 assists on 37 baskets made, usually indicative many of their buckets were easy/open look shots.

We have little talent. We have no structure. We give little in the way of effort. This program is a complete mess right now. Prohm needs to go.

good to see cat stevens is still in full Prohm defender mode. Maintain that branding, cat!

just because people write dumb stuff doesn’t mean I think Steve Prohm should be the basketball coach at Iowa State any longer.

he will lose his job after the season, either by termination, or being allowed to resign with a negotiated buyout. His time here is done. Jamie has no choice at this point.

there never has been, nor will their ever be, reason to go after him on a personal level.
