With the way wv it feels like we should be leading them. We are just playing not up to par either. Lack of making free throws really hurts. A couple front end misses and then 2 plain misses on a shooting foul would make a difference. Getting frustrated hearing their girls go to the line and have 65% average and hitting both time after time and us missing a bunch.

These pst few weeks have been so disappointing.. Went into the season with a ton of hype and optimism and started really slowly. Started to play really well and won at Baylor and now they are starting to really struggle. Playing themselves out of the tournament at this pace.
No offense to Rae at all but I felt like Iowa State was better before she started playing again. Bill really let the freshman play through mistakes and these past few weeks he’s been subbing them out a lot more frequently now.
I'm pretty sure bill is asking denarsky to take the rock to the hole, she just isn't sturdy enough to do it yet. May get strong enough in the future, she isn't able to keep the handle let alone get the shot of very often. She needs to build up to be asked to do that. Id be happy if she just ran around and hit 3s and took one dribble and hit mid rangers if necessaty.
Well, if we get a good big or two, they are going to be #2 in the conference for a while. It is obvious they are good, they just have to clean up the 15 or so really stupid passes a game. Wither seal your man or stop with the wrap around passes, because they are dangerous without the seal. And we're are not a tough team that I has the ability to seal.
We aren't missing the tournament. I figured at best we split with West Virginia.
Winning the conference this year would be nice but coming in this year I figured we were top 3 or 4 team in conference. We got 4 wins for sure in TTU TCU KU X2 We should at worst split the 2 OK road games personally I think we can get a sweep.
People need to chill a bit. There is a big difference in playing the top tier teams in the Big 12 and playing the bottom five that are nowhere near NCAA March teams. Also playing teams that emphasis defense isn't always our forte. It would have been pretty crazy to contend for a Big 12 title with three freshman starting but they did for half a season and are still solidly in the Top 4 of the league with a shot at 2nd yet but 3rd is more likely. WVU still has to play at Baylor at Texas and at Hilton. Who knows what up and down Texas will do game to game. Still a lot to play for, a good seed for March and getting Espenmiller-McGraw back etc.
