This may have already been talked about earlier, but who do we think is coming back next year and who is for sure leaving?

Cyclone twitter had posts about Parker, Degen, and Colbray’s career finishes like they were all hanging it up after this season.

No inside info, but before the tournament I would have said they all hang it up. Wrestling is a grind and 5 years is a long time. After how things shook out, I have to think Ian may have a bad taste in his mouth and want to give it another go. That was certainly not the Ian we know out there the last couple days.

I could have swore Coleman was a Senior also, but cyclones.com tells me I'm wrong. Wonder if Batista could make 184? Coleman looked so much better at 97, I'm excited to see what another year at that weight could mean for him.

I agree with Stuclone.
Parker isn’t going to be satisfied with the way his season ended. Degen’s body is shot.
I don’t think Colbray has the fire in his belly to stick around.
Gremmel’s success might leave him wanting more.

Not exactly sure.
I honestly hope Degen calls it a career. Not a shot at him, but his body has been shredded. Not living like a crippled up mess is more important than another year of wrestling. Health wise it would’ve best for him.

Degen and Colbray would be my 100% guess calling it a career
Ian I'm 50/50 on.
Big G I think is going to come back

Carr
Wick/Griffith - either will do
???
Broderson
Coleman/Bastida

Id really like Gremmel to come back to shore up heavyweight. What else is he going to do? Go sell insurance? You get a limited amount of time to wrestle, and Gremmel is healthy and has the fire.

If Gremmel comes back and we land one of the 65 transfers, I’ll be very excited about next year. If neither of those things happen, looking at a bad year.

125- Knopick or Kysen (redshirt one of these guys)
133- Ramazan (redshirt Redding and bulk him up to 141)
141- Parker
149- Robinson
157- Carr
165- Transfer (come train with David Carr, what's not to like?)
174- Schumacher
184- Broderson or Devine
197- Bastida or Coleman (could redshirt Bastida to allow him one more year to adjust to folkstyle)
Hwt- Gremmel or Coleman (could Coleman bulk up and be a 240 lbs hwt? He has a pretty good frame, but would need to commit to that ASAP to be ready by the season. Redshirt Schon/Greenlee)

I like our youth but we saw this year how youth can impact the teams ceiling. Therefore, I REALLY hope Ian and Gannon come back. That would go a long, long way.

I think Parker and Colbray are back. Gremmel I would be surprised. And yeah looks like Degan is done.

I think Degen retires because of body fatigue
I think Ian was planning on training with CRTC, so I expect him back.
Colbray is looking at graduate school in medical area, so see him moving on.
Gremmel graduated last December, I think & not sure what he is doing for classes now. I have now idea on him

I agree on Gremmel. He didn’t seem to be worn down by the grind like some of the other guys, and given his competitive fire, I would love to see him come back.

I am guessing
125. - Kysen or Aden Reeves
133 - Redding (no redshirt) & cut a struggle
141. - Parker
149 - Cam Robinson (no redshirt)
157 - Carr
165 - Schumacher, Judge or transfer
174 - Schumacher, transfer (I don’t think or know if Broderson can make 174)
184 - Devine(Shapiro) or Broderson
197 - Coleman & Yonger redshirts
285 - Gremmel???, transfer. Greenlee maybe
Schon is grayshirting

Didn't GG just get his masters degree or am I making that up?
