Scary thing is they have a very real shot at at least the Elite Eight. Neither of their potential Sweet 16 opponents will scare them. That defense is so nasty.
Until they are out you are still alive! I have the Hawks winning in all of my brackets so that I win either way. I win my bracket pools or the Hawks don’t cut down the nets. Win-win for me.Which is a little scary for me because I have the Pokes in the Final Four. Why? I dunno. I didn’t put a whole lot of thought into my picks this year.
They know steve prohm is available and are trying to attract him.I just can’t understand why Illinois didn’t change anything up. They didn’t play with urgency.

The way they play the Final Four is certainly not out of the realm. I am with you Houston could be a tough matchup for them. I don’t see West Virginia winning again. Maybe this next one but that would be the end of it I think. And then Elite Eight could be West Virginia or Houston. Those would be defensive battles.
There have been 35 tournaments since 1985 (before this year)Apologies if you have addressed it @HoopsTournament but with a 1 seed down I pose this. How many times have all 4 # 1 seeds made sweet 16 and last time it happened and what is the fewest 1 seeds to make a sweet 16 in a single tournament?
Maybe he had traveled back to the 2011 Sweet Sixteen.Did Greg just say "Awaiting tip-off of Wisconsin-Butler"?
(or maybe it's my poor hearing)
That was a coaching clinic from game planning to execution. Masterful.

- All 4 have made it to the Sweet Sixteen 18 times
- Last time was 2019
- At least 2 #1 seeds have been every year.
- There have been only 2 #1 seeds 3 times (2000, 2004, 2018)
