If today goes like yesterday, next week's ratings will show that it's more than just me.

Meh.

Good basketball is good basketball, regardless of high-major, mid-major, etc.

Loyola showed me yesterday that they can play with any team in the country, and personally I don't care if that means slowing the clock down and working and cutting for the best shot. I can enjoy fundamentals just as much as a fast-break style. Oral Roberts was a hell of a lot of fun to watch last night.

Can Cunningham dribble without pushing off? Can he shoot without clearing space? He has some skills, but I am glad I wasn't forced to cheer for him. I hate that style. Happy for Oregon State, they are fun to watch.

Do you want a Duke vs. North Carolina, or Kentucky vs. Kansas final every year? Probably being who you are but the tournament is fun when it is random like this!

I definitely don't. Seeing different teams is much better than the same teams over and over.
If the old standbys don't like it, they can go win some games.

I think it's just the overall 'vibe' of the tournament vs. a normal year too.

College basketball has gone downhill with transfers/one and dones and then take out most of the blue bloods and it's more like an NIT.

The NCAA tournament is the greatest event in all of sports. There is always a mix of power teams, underdogs, and compelling stories, and "anything can happen" happens every year.

This will never change.

I don’t give a crap about ratings. Why do people get so fixated on them. I will watch and so will true college basketball fans. Just because you elitists don’t get your way and cry about it sometimes doesn’t mean that the games aren’t good. You don’t have to watch.

Exactly. You can’t like them in one round then turn around and say upsets suck I wish the blue bloods were playing...
A tournament without Blue Bloods is the funnest tournament of all. This tournament will be PERFECT if KU loses tonight. Fans of those schools act entitled and think it is their right to win and whine and complain when someone else gets the glory instead of them.

Also, we as Iowa State fans don’t care about your views as a KU fan on an Iowa State message board when you act like a typical elitist KU fan. If you are here to contribute to the general discussion, that is fIne. But if you are going to act like an elitist, just do us a favor and stay on the KU boards.

Nah, we lose at some point almost every year so it isn't that. I just prefer to watch match ups with more skilled players and coaches is all. Hats off to the non-P5 teams for advancing, they have all earned their spots. I just don't find a UCLA vs. Abilene Christian game or a potential Oregon State vs. Syracuse matchup very intriguing.

Kansas' bracket is very chalky so I wouldn't mind a few upsets in that bracket for a change this year. Go Oklahoma and Oregon!

Meh, I gave my opinions on the tourney, no different than anyone else. I doubt all ISU fans feel exactly the same as you. If you have no interest in seeing my posts, there are tools available through this website that allow you to block my posts.
