Does Dan Gable deserve honorable mention? One of the all time great ISU athletes. But also left and built a dynasty at our biggest rival.

Lou McCollugh. Although he lucked into Johnny he let Bruce go without an effort, then hired Donnie Duncan and Jim criner over John Cooper. Basically setting ISU into a tailspin.
