Nice!! TJ killing it on the recruiting trail so far. I dont know how he finds enough minutes though to keep everyone happy.

With this talent influx someone has to be the 10th-12th guys on the bench.

Regardless who that becomes, the main thing is that there will be much better competition in practice, better practice situations as a result, and surely more contributing options coming off the bench.

I was so anti TJ hire at first... so glad i seem wrong so far. He is doing as close to an A+ in the time frame he has with both coaching hires and recruiting. I never thought i would have b-ball hope again this quickly.

Honestly, watching him and his rapport with the players is what sold me. Seems like a cool dude, right mix between player's coach and the boss. Seeing them actually smile around each other is something. Chemistry has been off at ISU for years.

Looks like a good addition in terms of athletic ability. The 2.6 point in 10 minutes a game isn't impressive, but maybe he will be more productive in Ames.
Glad to see some physical guys in the program, but still a little concerned about the number of transfers that have low scoring averages. Need a scorer out of this bunch, and maybe he is there somewhere. Going to have a full roster anyway.

I feel like most of those spots will be the holdovers. I would not mind Javan Johnson only playing in the last 5 minutes personally.

It’s all good. I’m sure Craig Smith would have been able to X and O’s his way out of a starting lineup of Jackson, Johnson, Walker, Conditt and some transfer from Arkansas Pine-Bluff.
While Smith may possibly be better at X's and O's, it appears that TJ is better at recruiting. And at the end of the day, it is like Johnny said: "You gotta have the horses.".

Batting 1.000 so far. Reel in Fletcher and its hard to imagine a much better start for a coach. Hopefully ends the handwringing over hiring process and not talking to recruits from the prior staff.
